Weekly Wisdom #6
As an entrepreneur do you spend time learning and investing in expanding your mind? Such as reading, watching training, taking a course or maybe doing a programme at college? Or maybe you have invested in someone to teach you new skills? Have you ever felt like you needed to learn before you could serve? Or are you in a mode of continually learning, thinking 'Oh, I've got these ideas that I would like to put into my business but I can not implement them as I need to learn first'.
Is that something that resonates with you?
Now is a good time to think about the learning that you have done and start taking some action with your skills. Stop listening to the messages in your head 'I just need to learn a little bit more'. Just do it anyway.
It's important to acknowledge the skills that you have are enough for you to make a start on your ideas because if you keep on learning and not putting those skills into action, then you're getting in your own way.
Some people have messages in their head, saying, 'Well, I'm not quite sure I know enough yet'. But let me tell you, you've got to start somewhere and you are enough.
Even if you start with a lowball offer to help you get experience and build confidence. At least the offer enables you to be honest and say this is new to me and test drive your idea. At the same time, it enables you to get some feedback and testimonials.
Think about something small you could start that perhaps you've been putting off. You know, there's no time like the present, you don't need to keep on putting off your progress and you don't need somebody else's permission or validation to do what you want to do.
So, yeah, you've got to start somewhere.
I suggest or challenge you to do something that perhaps you've been putting off. Actually, I am doing the same at the moment and I am taking action. And I want to encourage you to do it too.
Let me know in the comments what it will be. Let's do this together.
